DESIGNER NOTE//
This dress consumes 12 meters of handwoven traditional Ikat 100% cotton Fabric. Because Ikat fabric is so often used for ceremonial events in Indonesia, the Designer wanted to create a unique pattern in the dress to create a One-of-a-Kind Ikat Print but thru patterns cut-paneling not in print. This time-consuming task consists of cutting multiple pattern pieces to create a unique side panel pattern shape and takes 20 hours of sewing time to create the voluminous effect of the cascading tiers. All Ikat pieces are handwoven and hand crafted pieces which are unique & one-of-a-kind so the fabric might have some imperfections, this is the beauty of handmade, one-of-a-kind garments.
